E-Agriculture and Haryana: The Role of 'Digital Haryana' Intervention in the Rural Agricultural Economy

Abstract
This research paper analyses the impact on the rural agricultural economy of e-agricultural interventions, such as My Crop My Details, e-procurement and soil health card, implemented under the 'Digital Haryana' initiative in Haryana. Studies indicate that these initiatives increase transparency, profit-transfer speed, and resource-use efficiency. Also, barriers such as digital literacy, internet connectivity, data errors and limited access to small and tenant farmers limit their full benefits.
