Abstract:
The process by which women gain the capacity, self-assurance, resources, knowledge, skills, and opportunities required to make significant decisions and engage equally in social, economic, educational, and political life is known as women's empowerment. Because education improves knowledge, skills, self-confidence, decision-making capacity, economic independence, and social awareness, it is one of the most important tools for women's empowerment. Because they are both benefactors of education and significant agents of social and educational change, women teachers play a particularly significant role in this process. Women educators support children's and communities' intellectual, social, cultural, and economic growth through their professional positions. The current study looks at how women's empowerment contributes to the socioeconomic advancement of female educators. It emphasizes skill development, financial independence, career advancement, technology awareness and research, vocational education, social development, leadership, decision-making, and gender equality. The report also outlines the primary challenges that may inhibit women's empowerment, including gender discrimination, restricted educational chances, economic dependency, societal constraints, and lack of vocational training, unequal work opportunities, and inadequate institutional assistance. According to the study, women's empowerment and the general advancement of society can be greatly enhanced by expanding their access to professional training, education, employment possibilities, equal participation, and decision-making.
