Abstract:
Seasonal allergic conditions like allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, and allergic conjunctivitis are prevalent in urban areas of India, where increasing air pollution significantly contributes to triggering and aggravating symptoms. Contact with pollutants such as particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10), nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, and emissions from vehicles intensifies seasonal allergies during certain times of the year. Allergic Rhinitis is a prevalent inflammatory condition increasingly observed in Urban populations, largely due to rising air pollution and environmental allergens.
Conventional treatment offers symptomatic relief but is often associated with recurrence and potential side effects.
