Abstract

Ghrita Kalpana is an important dosage form in Ayurveda owing to its Yogavahi, Samskarasya Anuvartanatva and enhanced bioavailability. Moorchit Goghrita is considered a pharmaceutically refined base for medicated ghrita preparations. Shatavari Ghrita is a classical formulation widely indicated in Striroga, Pittaja Vyadhi, Daha, Kshaya and Balya conditions.

The present study was undertaken to evaluate the pharmaceutical preparation, analytical parameters, and statistical significance of changes observed between Moorchit Goghrita and Shatavari Ghrita.
